After four successful seasons of management Stephen Codling as stepped away from his role with Dave Redford taking over.

Cod has had 4 fantastic seasons, bringing league winners trophies in Div 1 and Prem to the club, as well Senior cup final experiences.

We wish him all the best as he focuses on his role in youth management at the club and his advisory role throughout the club.

We have a few words from the new vets manager-

It was an honour at our end of season drinks to be asked by so many teammates to take on the role of new vets manager.

Taking over from the legendary Cod will be no easy task and it will take some time to step out of the large and successful shadow he has cast over Loddon vets football. Cod kindly said it was like Klopp handing over to Arne Slot but all I hope is it's not more like Ferguson passing on the reins to Moyes.

Our target for this season is a Top 2 finish in the NSVL Premier league and at least one good run in the cups.

But one of our main priorities will always be the social side and that's why it's so good to have Gary's new Jub Social as the venue for our 7 pint Sundays and other events.

Vets is obviously the gold standard of Loddon Utd football and over the coming seasons we hope to welcome more young blood from the 1sts & Reserves, as long as they feel they are up to the footballing challenge.
